As a researcher and creator of cultural contents and storytelling, including film, games, metaverses, and performances, she focuses on research, education, and creative activities that focus on the changing storytelling technologies as media evolve and find humanistic values in them. Her books include <Story Universe>, ,<K-Storytelling>, <What Happens in the Metaverse>, and <I play the games, therefore I am>.

I love to read, love culture, am fascinated by things that are fun and entertaining, and enjoy exploring new and unfamiliar perspectives. She is interested in predicting future cultural trends and studying cultural experience and enjoyment. His cultural insights can be found in books such as <Character Education, Standing on the Boundary>, <Reading Les Misérables in Our Time>, <The Cultural Genes of Koreans>, and <Analysing Mass Media Storytelling>.

His research focuses on the cultural policies, the cultural & creative industries, the cultural management and more latterly the cultural heritage, the convergence of arts and technology. Before entering academia he worked as a cultural policy researcher in the Korea Culture & Tourism Institute, Korea Creative Content Agency. In addition, he has worked extensively as a policy researcher and consultant in the arts and cultural sector, including the cultural policy projects in the Mininstry of Culture, local authorities, and public cultural organizations. He was the President of Korean Association of Arts Management in 2015. He is the author of Cultural Policy in Creative Society.

I am interested in researching K-Content, K-Pop, fandom, and cultural content business. In August 2023, I earned a Ph.D. from Hanyang University with a dissertation titled "A Study on K-Pop Fandom Contents Generation Structure" I have primarily lectured on topics such as "Cultural Content Business," "Cultural Content Marketing," and "K-Pop and Fandom." Over the years, I have conducted numerous national R&D projects and published several papers focusing on "K-Pop and Fandom." Currently, I am also serving as a Director of the Animation Society of Korea.
